Please login or Register to Review. our server at the bar a young korean girl, was so friendly and gave us so much personal attention and recommendations was almost like we had been invited to someone's home for a party, the cocktail i had was marvellous Chandra Bose Sour, our server at the table was amazing too, the chilli brocolli salad was super, the regulars wada pav, dal and mutter paneer, naan all are great. Only a limited number available. We were asked to wait at the bar and it would be a half an hour wait.I was absolutely thrilled to eat at this restaurant and not only is the art deco interior beautiful.

Mayfair Indian restaurant Jamavar has re-launched its feasting menu for the second lockdown called "The Royal Kitchen". We came here as a small group for a birthday, we did not book a table but as we decided to arrive at about 3pm on a Sunday, we only waited about 20 minutes for a table which was fine and gave us time to have a drink at the bar.We were seated near the windows which was lovely as some areas are quite dark and there was a lively buzzing atmosphere. This was fine for us and actually, we were very lucky and only ended up waiting for 45 minutes so if you are told over an hour I would still go for it - it's totally worth it! Families dined.
